Gluten Free Frozen Waffles
Axiom’s food expertise and wide range of contacts was utilized to complete this project as the General Contractor where an existing waffle production line in a running facility was converted into a segregated Gluten free line. Scope of work included installation work for all of the equipment relocations and replacements (mixing and make up equipment as well as relocation and installation of all existing ovens and freezers and packaging equipment). Additionally, Axiom’s involvement included, procurement of competitive bids, design review management of all required trades (refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical, in-house piping and Millwrighting), hoarding and segregation of construction area from active production. Front end engineering support prior to capital approval including design layout and preliminary budgets was also performed by Axiom.
