Message From the Owners

Axiom began its journey in 2003 in Cambridge, Ontario, with a clear purpose — to support the food & beverage industry through skilled millwrighting and fabrication services. In 2012, I had the opportunity to acquire the company and rebrand it as the Axiom Group of Companies, with a vision to grow alongside our customers and provide localized support wherever they operate. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve expanded our footprint across North America, with offices in Canada (3), the U.S. (2), and Mexico (1). While our roots remain in Food & Beverage, we’ve grown to serve a broader range of light industrial sectors, offering integrated solutions that include fabrication, millwrighting, automation, and more. Our growth is a reflection of the trust our clients place in us, and our continued commitment to delivering value — wherever they need us.

Our Growth Story

From humble beginnings to a trusted multi-trade partner, we’ve grown by delivering quality work — one project at a time.

2003 AXIOM was founded in one bay industrial unit focusing on custom fabricated parts and maintenance support for the food and beverage industry.

2005 Outgrew original shop and moved to a 15,000 SF facility in Waterloo. Service expansion into large millwrighting and installation projects.

2006 Project milestone achieved: Axiom completes first installation project over $250,000. Services are expanded to include custom mechanical design.

2009 Expansion into USA. Offering Project Engineering and Construction Management to Key Customers focusing on plant relocations, and production area additions.

2010 Moves into new 20,000 SF fabrication facility in Cambridge, ON. Estimating and Project team expansion allows AXIOM to better complete projects across North America.

2012 Joe Sterrazza purchases AXIOM with intent to expand services.

2015 Purchases a 40,000 sq ft. facility to facilitate mild steel, stainless steel, fabrication areas and tool storage. Axiom Industrial Solutions opened office in Nevada, USA.
